Unique and original

I saw this light fixture on a BBC design series and just had to incorporate it into my kitchen design. It is the perfect fixture to add originality to an otherwise so-so tray ceiling and takes an 1980's kitchen into the 2020's.

Bought it almost a month ago. Arrived exactly like I saw it on your page beautiful and pefectly assembled
Beautiful pendant
I love David Trubridge and the sustainable aspect of his products. FYI, in order to minimize shipping costs, the bamboo pendants come flat and need to be assembled. This requires quite a bit of time.
Sculptural and Good Looking
This fixture is very eco friendly and almost fun to put together. The visual directions are not very clear and the video directions on the website are for a different size than the one I purchased. Since the directions are line drawings, it it hard to discern which way the main plate goes. Once you start snapping the pieces together, you can't take it apart or they will break. (only 2 spare strips included). I like that you can use any bulb with this light- I am using an LED bulb.
Very Unique Light
This is a very cool light. One thing about it is that it requires assembly. Even though it came in LOTS of pieces, don't be intimidated by it, it was easy and not too time consuming. It's a great, unique, modern light.
David Trubridge
After sailing the Pacific with his family for several years, British native David Trubridge landed in Hawkes Bay, NZ, in 1985, and stayed. Inspired by their travels, Trubridge put his skills in architecture and ship-building to use in the design of furniture. A pretty much local business suddenly exploded into an international one when, in 2001, his Body Raft chair was picked up for production by Cappellini.
