Beautiful but transformer delays switching and changing/hand
Construction and design detailing is much better than many "look alikes." Easy to assemble but the transformer delays switching and the access to changing of the bulb is difficult given the need to wear gloves to handle the bulb.
Don't settle for a knock-off!
This table lamp is so perfect that my husband and I have bought at least 10 of them over the years. We have occasionally tried cheaper ones or variations of the design, but we keep coming back to the Bernice. It's just about flawless!
Nice sleek contemporary design
Would love to see more finishes options
Berenice a winner again!
We find the Berenice table lamps ideal for reading in bed. They focus the light where it needs to be without flooding the room unnecessarily. They also allow the bed mate to sleep without the glare of overhead lights distrubing that person. Their flexibility and rotation radius are great assets. Well-designed and engineered lamps! We love them.
Exactly as I remember
Long ago, I had the identical lamp which I gave up as I moved houses. The easy assembly of this quickly arriving purchase provides light like I remember and is handsome as I recall. I use as a bedside reading light. It is perfect for its purpose, easy to maneuver and its use does not disturb my mate.
Luceplan
Established in 1978 by architects Riccardo Sarfatti, Paolo Rizzatto and Sandra Severi, Luceplan defined its goal of democratic quality design, free of stylistic clichés and opulence, from the very onset. This approach--soon acknowledged by the market and numerous international awards--was perfected when Alberto Meda, an engineer with a passionate love for design, joined the team in 1984.
