Very sturdy heavy weight lamp while being low profile. The adjustable arm and lamp head make this the perfect reading light over our club chair. The on/off switch is controlled by a foot pedal which I am not a fan of. It's clunky and feels like cheap plastic but works fine for dimming. I wish they would have just integrated the on/off switch into a knob on the lamp to make it low profile. The cord on the floor is not attractive.
