Modern Modern Bathroom Light Bars & Vanity Bar Lights

Why We Love Bath Light Bars

In well-designed bathrooms, lighting is just as much of a critical component as running water in the sink or bathtub. And modern vanity light bars help to ensure that you have sufficient lighting by complementing natural light sources, lighted mirrors or recessed light fixtures installed in the ceiling above. This collection of light bars fit a variety of bathroom styles too, ranging from transitional to traditional or clean and contemporary. For any bathroom area, you'll love introducing a stylish bath bar.

Bath lighting is often comprised of a mix of natural lighting flowing in from the window, flushmounts and recessed fixtures on the ceiling, and wall lights flanking the vanity mirror. And in a room where lighting is a critical component to getting your day started, a well-rounded amount of illumination is much appreciated. Unlike a traditional wall sconce, bath bars offer multiple touches of light from a single fixture that allows for a widespread amount of light. Whether for functional vanity light or added elegance in the throne room, a bath bar is a go-to choice for vanity lighting.

Bath Bar Ideas for Every Style

Bathroom vanity light bars like the Tech Lighting Span Bath Bar or the Artemide Basic Strip Bath Bar add a modern touch to your bathroom and provide ample lighting for any vanity related task. Both Tech Lighting and Artemide excel at contemporary bath lighting and it is clearly evident with the collection of bath bars. How to Choose the Best Bath Bars

As with any choice of lighting, you'll need to decide the intention of a bathroom light bar. Is it to provide bright, focused task lighting or general ambient light that will pair well with other fixtures in the space? Once you know the purpose of a vanity bar you need, you can then refine your options to find the correct size. Measure the space where the fixture will be installed and pay careful attention to its height, width, length (from the wall) and weight. Most bath bars will be installed above the mirror for the best spread of lighting, but you'll also find vertical light bars that can go on either side of the mirror. Finally, look to the light's required bulb type to be prepared with the right light bulbs at installation. Other Considerations

For similar wall-mounted lighting options in the bathroom, you will want to check out the variety of modern bathroom sconces. Unlike the linear and horizontally aligned bath bars featured here, sconces can take on a variety of shapes and sizes to fit a multitude of bathroom layouts. And if you are restricted on space in your bath area, consider a lighted vanity mirror. These decorative options combine the reflection you need in a mirror with ample lighting from a light fixture.
