The a-emotional light Woods Pendant is an abstracted view of nature, featuring a dense grove of birch wood that floats around a radiant light. Much like a growing tree gravitates and grows towards the sun, the planks of wood are nurtured by the light source within, creating a natural interplay of light and shadow. Suspended individually and at different lengths, the birch encircles the light source in an irregular bundle, filtering light through the openings as well as aiming light below the fixture.

a-emotional light

Started in 1994 by Arturo Álvarez as “a by arturo alvarez,” the company created handcrafted lights each with unique shapes and details that create a distinctive presence in the home. Always aiming to create “emotional light,” the company was rebranded in 2020 as “a-emotional light.” Based in Galicia of Northwestern Spain, a-emotional light is now lead by CEO Marcos Rioseco and Sales Manager Miguel Martínez with one goal: to make people feel.
