A nest of emotional light. The Bartoli Wall Sconce from Eichholtz is a piece of functional sculpture, giving the home’s architectural features a distinct focal point. Its modern character is evident in its use of clean shapes and lines. The sconce’s linear structure suggests the graphic, repeating motifs of the Art Deco style. This structure places slender metal rods at varying heights, creating a dynamic form that gets the eyes scanning across. The structure creates a cozy home for the alabaster diffuser inside. The light funnels and filters through the alabaster as an ambient glow, translating to a dramatic graphic silhouette.
