Unusual Lamps are Beautiful
I love these lamps. I really like the way that they look. I have never seen anything like them. If you are buying these lamps for good light, they don't give off a lot of light. The light when turned on is really low. I love looking at them. These are really great show lamps.
Incredibly beautiful lamp

This was a compulsive buy while the lamp was on sale, i was a bit skeptical before getting the lamp at home actually... Now it's probably my preferred kartell lamp so far (it's dethroning my bourgie). It's so beautiful that it's an impressive decorative object while working very well as desk lamp. Love the dimmable LED feature. sometime the on/off get a little crazy, just need a quick reset by unplugging it for 30 seconds or so.
Beautiful Lamp
This Lamp is an amazing sculptural piece. It is graceful and strong in appearance. The light provided is dimmable giving the option of soft ambiant light and strong task light. My only complant is that it takes a bit of time to learn how to turn on and off and when turned off one diode remains on. Seems only way to completely turn off is to unplug.
Kartell
Based in Milan, Italy, Kartell was founded in 1949 by chemical engineer Giulio Castelli and his wife, architect Anna Castelli. Originally a producer of car accessories, it was Kartell's experimentation in plastics for the home that made them famous. Stylish home accessories and lighting dominated the 1950s, with the first injection-molded furniture emerging in the 1960s. Since then, the Kartell modern furniture line has only continued to grow, including contemporary chairs, tables, sofas and more--all made out of durable, lightweight and surprisingly comfortable plastic.
