The Nelson Floor Lamp from Seascape Lamps proves that basic forms often create the most useful lighting tools. Its construction features clean lines that rise directly from the floor to the shade without unnecessary details. Unlike directional task lamps, this fixture spreads light in all directions, helping to fill a room rather than just one area. It fits naturally in corners, between seating areas, or next to side tables, where its straightforward design complements rather than competes with surrounding furniture.

Seascape Lamps

Based near the California coast, Seascape Lamps is a lighting brand founded by designer Mike Shenk in 1980. At first, the company was a small operation he started out of his garage in Santa Cruz, CA, and since then, Seascape Lamps has become known for their unique—and extensive—range of lighting designs.
