The Seascape Lamps Story
Based near the California coast, Seascape Lamps is a lighting brand founded by designer Mike Shenk in 1980. At first, the company was a small operation he started out of his garage in Santa Cruz, CA, and since then, Seascape Lamps has become known for their unique—and extensive—range of lighting designs.

Fun Facts About Seascape Lamps
In addition to the contemporary designers Seascape Lamps works with, the brand also is licensed exclusively with Shaheen’s Designs. The tropical patterns and colors were originally designed by Alfred Shaheen (1922-2008) who is famous for designing, printing and manufacturing the Hawaiian shirt.
Noteworthy Products from Seascape Lamps
The Seascape Lamps Twist Pendant layers two classic drum shapes, then surprises by adding angles to the base of each tier. The effect is quite dramatic, especially when choosing different colors and textures for the top shade. The second tier shade is always in white, helping to diffuse the surrounding light in addition to the soft light shining through the frosted base.
