Key Features

Eco-Friendly
Made in Italy
Three vertical accents and a single horizontal shelf give the Lepid Console Table from Kartell a narrow, open form that reads as much like a wall composition as a functional surface. The contrasting painted edges — central to Patricia Urquiola's Lepid system — run along every join, giving the piece a continuous graphic line from any angle. Polyester-lacquered MDF panels, sourced from FSC-certified forests and connected through interlocking joins, keep the console strong and easy to assemble in an entryway or living room.

Kartell

Based in Milan, Italy, Kartell was founded in 1949 by chemical engineer Giulio Castelli and his wife, architect Anna Castelli. Originally a producer of car accessories, it was Kartell's experimentation in plastics for the home that made them famous. Stylish home accessories and lighting dominated the 1950s, with the first injection-molded furniture emerging in the 1960s. Since then, the Kartell modern furniture line has only continued to grow, including contemporary chairs, tables, sofas and more--all made out of durable, lightweight and surprisingly comfortable plastic.
