Kelvin LED Green Mode Task Lamp

I own 4 Kelvin Flos lamps. Their design is quite beautiful and they are a pleasure to use... until it stops working. With 2 of my 4 lamps, the touch sensor on top of the module shorted and no longer works. This means that the only way to turn the lamp on or off is to plug it in and unplug it, rendering it much less functional. I use these lamps inside my home in a standard manner. They are not subject to any rough wear, and yet 50% of them have broken within 4 years, which is fairly awful for such an expensive product. Neither Lumens nor FLOS offer options to repair the lamps.

Excellent quality

I love these so much, that I have 6 of them. 4 in chrome and 2 in black. They are perfect for reading and on the nightstands. I love how they adjust in many positions and tap for different light. Base is heavy and they were really packed well.....even that was pure Italian craftsmanship!

Design is cool and sleek and great adjustability. I wanna love this lamp but I can't actually use it because the buzzing drives me crazy. It has to be kept on the dimmest setting for me to not hear the buzzing. A task light that is so loud it disrupts any sort of focus is not a good design, such a basic design flaw that kills(for me) all the positives it has. At this price point they should do better. Also, another disappointment in design, you cant switch from a base to a wall-mount; apparently to wall mount I would have to buy a whole new lamp.
