Kelvin LED Green Mode Task Lamp

Design is cool and sleek and great adjustability. I wanna love this lamp but I can't actually use it because the buzzing drives me crazy. It has to be kept on the dimmest setting for me to not hear the buzzing. A task light that is so loud it disrupts any sort of focus is not a good design, such a basic design flaw that kills(for me) all the positives it has. At this price point they should do better. Also, another disappointment in design, you cant switch from a base to a wall-mount; apparently to wall mount I would have to buy a whole new lamp.

I love to read in bed. I purchased two of these Italian lamps, one for each bedside table. Easy to assemble, functional and beautiful. Service was excellent. Very happy with this shopping experience.

5 Star Review

We purchased two Kelvin lamps for our night tables in black and they not only look great on our mid century modern furniture but they work great as well. You can adjust the lighting by touch and the small LED on top either shows the green or amber mode. Flos makes great products! Highly recommended.

I've been skeptical about switching to LED lighting given the cost and the limited light output that seems to be typical of LED sources - is the technology really there yet? This lamp proves to me that LED is a viable option. I purchased this light to replace a 100 watt task lamp at the computer in my office. I was tired of sitting next to that luminous space heater and decided to give this a whirl. This design is sleek and inconspicuous. The lamp is beyond simple to assemble - pop the end of the articulated arm into the base and plug it in. I bought the anthracite option - in retrospect I think I might have liked gloss white better for the clean look and am a bit tired of black everything, but anthracite does match all the rest of the doo dads on my desk. Silver would be a nice option but right now it comes in white, gloss black and the matte anthracite only. The dimmer is super slick- you wave your hand (or just a finger) over the top of the lamp head to cycle through bright, medium, low and back to "off." There isn't any diffuse light from the lamp - it is definitely a task lamp and directs its light in a work area that seems to be about two to three feet square. It's bright enough for reading, typing and other office tasks, without glare. The light runs extremely cool and at under 10 watts, you're getting a lot of bang per watt. Definitely recommended.
