The Jewel Block Wall Sconce 1 from Rosie Li Studio features a compact square composition defined by a pressed-glass block shade paired with a slender, structured metal frame. Inspired by crystalline minerals, architectural glass tiles, and vintage train signal lights from the early 20th century, the stepped opal glass diffuser softens and scatters light with a prismatic effect. A precisely proportioned steel-and-brass framework anchors the design, creating a crisply delineated contrast between glossy glass and shiny metal while imparting a refined, jewel-like presence on the wall.

Rosie Li Studio

Discovered shortly after graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2011, Rosie Li began her career when her undergraduate thesis project caught the attention of the lighting production company, Roll & Hill. The lighting design was the Stella Triangle, an abstract and geometrically savvy product that was not only Li’s first licensed product, but would eventually set the precedent for Rosie Li in 2015.
