The Engawa Bench from Blomus, created by German designer Carsten Gollnick, positions its legs asymmetrically beneath a beveled top, drawing on Japanese design principles that emphasize the relationship between elements. The entire piece is made of FSC-certified oak, with careful attention given to the transitions between the top and legs. Suited to indoor use, this bench doubles as a low table, working well in an entryway or living room needing a versatile, handcrafted piece of furniture.
