The Greenington Story
In 2004, Greenington began production of the most eco-friendly contemporary furniture in the brand's home of Kent, Washington. The contemporary furniture line satisfies the taste for wood furniture with a resource of higher value: classic and exotic Moso bamboo. Greenington’s innovative manufacturing processes take simple grass material and make it stronger than hardwood. Greenington is also a founding member of the Sustainable Furnishings Council, meeting and exceeding the green requirements set by this council. The company carefully selects and tests all chemicals used in the manufacturing process, and all adhesives and coatings in Greenington's products have impressively low off-gas emissions.
