Comments about Emeco Stool
We are generally enjoying our Emeco counter stools. They are attractive, light weight, and sturdy, and the seat is generously sized. The brushed texture takes a little getting used to because it creates a lot of friction between one's pants and the surface of the stool. Two of the edges are also a little rough due to the brushing process, which makes me concerned that delicate fabrics may snag as one is sitting down and getting up.
Fabulous addition to my kitchen!

I love my new Emeco polished stools! They add so much style to my counter. Plus, they are so light to move around. Considering adding another!

I bought a couple of these when I renovated my tiny kitchen a few years ago. Great design lines, amazingly comfortable, and solid. Needed another and placed an order. Very excited to receive my delivery in July!
Emeco
Electrical Machine and Equipment Company (Emeco) was founded in 1944 by Wilton Carlyle Dinges in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Dinges' first assignment came from no other than the U.S. government, to manufacture a strong yet lightweight chair that could withstand water, salt air and rowdy sailors. The result was the iconic Emeco Navy Chair, made enitrely out of durable machined aluminum.
