Topping one’s head poetically. The Wooster Pendant from Innermost blurs the lines between 19th-century fashion and 21st-century lighting as a charming top hat-inspired design. Creator Jake Phipps’s work sees shapes as luxurious and precious objects. Phipps balances a pendant’s tried-and-true cylindrical shape with that of the elegant top hat. Artisans craft the shade by hand with a wool felt exterior for a rich texture that follows tradition. This hat-like shade appears to fall gracefully towards one’s head as it hangs with a fine cord. It casts a pool of soft light over one as its lamping shines past the shade’s metallic interior.

In 1999, Londoners Steve Jones and Russell Cameron decided to build a design brand based on collaboration with the vast pool of design talent in London. Naming that brand Innermost, they went to work compiling a collection of contemporary lighting and furniture.
