The Barovier & Toso Story
Barovier & Toso is one of the world’s oldest family businesses. Founded in 1295 as Barovier in Murano, Italy, the company grew to prominence in the 1400s with the work of Angelo Barovier, whose glass objects can be seen in museums today. Renamed Barovier & Toso in 1942, the company forges Venetian mouth blown crystal with master artisans using the same age-old tradition passed down over generations. This technique has allowed for unique and sustainable designs different from any other crystal on the market.
