It does so with numerous ruffled folds of Opalflex®, a specialty plastic material with a texturized white surface that both looks like raw silk and evenly diffuses the light of the LED bulbs within all around. It is complemented and suspended by an eye-catching red cord.
First conceived in 1994 by Italian designer Roberto Ziliani, Slamp lighting has garnered world recognition as being at the top of a very short list of innovative and envelope-pushing lighting companies. Their range of products made of cutting-edge polymer plastics are cold-formed to avoid CO2 emissions, while excess scraps are recycled into beehives. Slamp, with their resounding mantra, "From Italy to Eternity," sets the stage for their newest and most avant-garde collections yet.
