pictures are misleading
the color of the pictures of the lamp shades on the listing do not match the physical product. the build quality of the lamp is really poor. packaging box arrived wet and completely damaged. trying to process return but not easy.
Beautiful design
We were in the market for a tripod lamp. Though this one was a bit pricier than others in some of the larger retail stores, it was completely worth it. The design is much more refined and it appears to be very well made. We purchased the white shade based on then colors of our family room but the black looks gorgeous!
Cheap Plastic Socket
The lamp is beautiful but the plastic socket disintegrated within about six months. The shade is far too heavy to be balanced on a plastic socket. This is a significant design defect.
