The Trim Round LED Flushmount from Maxim Lighting embodies architectural restraint through its ultra-thin circular profile. I attempted to install this light in a hallway. the mounting mechanism is basically a spring loaded clip. I doubt there is a condition outside of new construction where this would install fully flush and stay in place.

I bought the black 11in model - here's what I think: Pros: Simple, Very Shallow Depth, Looks Great, Evenly Lit Panel Cons: Really bright - need to use a dimmer, Grounding seemed mysterious. Overall, it's a really great lamp if you use a dimmer with it. It's spec'd @ 3000k, but it seems a bit over that to me. I don't have a way to measure it, so can't confirm or deny that number, but it's definitely not closer to 2700k. It white, not blueish, not yellowish. It's hard to find a simple low profile ceiling fixture that doesn't look like you bought it at your local home improvement store, so I'm grateful to have found something affordable that still looks decent. Cant speak to the longevity, but hope it lasts!

Modern, Great Color of Light and Easy to Install

During our kitchen remodel, I wanted to add some additional overhead light in our laundry room. These types of LED Flushmount lights were a perfect addition to our project. The 7" was perfect over the laundry room sink and the 11" were a good size and we installed two of them. Since they are very bright, my electrician installed a dimmer for me. I 100% recommend these for any room. Thank you!

This is a nice simple, very low profile light. Nice for minimalist spaces. The light itself is quite bright so I would not consider installing it without a dimmer!
