The Tambo Flushmount from Nova of California features a contoured drum-shaped silhouette crowned with an inset, gently curved glass shade. Designed by Peter Morelli in 1984 to echo the geometric details of a rolltop desk, the piece reflects a refined mid-century sensibility grounded in thoughtful proportion and material clarity. A solid hardwood body provides warmth and stability, while the glass shade diffuses light into a calm, ambient glow. Balanced and versatile, the lamp works comfortably in bedrooms, living areas, or studies, offering intriguing, retro character through restrained, intentional design.

Comments about Tambo Flushmount

Ordered on 8/30 with note that it'd be ship in 1-2 business days. Today is 9/30 and still do not have it. I have followed up few times when I get the same update that Nova is delayed and shipping soon. I received four different ship dates. Poor customer service.

Comments about Tambo Flushmount

I ordered this fixture from two different online retailers, and both times it came with an "opal acrylic"—according to the manufacturer—shade, and NOT a frosted glass diffuser. Their response was "because glass is fragile" doesn't ring true.
