The lamp shade’s textile surface invites a touch like the soft surface of a cozy couch. Together with the shade’s oval shape, a linear upholstered accent suggests the starting line of the Belmont racetrack. Bought 2 w/oak base and white shades for a small sized bedroom. They are visually simple but elegant with a perfect amount of light control which can be dimmed or full wattage for reading. Waited years to find the perfect pair of night stand lamps and could not be more pleased with these. QUALiTY materials, sophisticated design, bulbs were included which was a surprise bonus!

Pablo Designs

Born in Venezuela, Pablo Pardo came to the US in the early 1980s and stayed. After getting his degree in industrial design from the University of Cincinnati in 1986, he designed for companies ranging from Fisher Price to Daimler Chrysler before settling in San Francisco. There he founded Pablo Designs in 1993, a lighting company specializing in refined designs that reinterpret light in its many forms.
