Stupa Pendant

Retained from above via a slender cable and power cord, it seats powerful, power-efficient LED lamping inside a rounded shade of cast resin cut by hand on a lathe to resemble the flared, layered design of Stupa spires found in Asian temples. The ridged construction creates a variation in the light allowed through the sides, creating a clever contrast of diffused light around the pillar of downlight that sweeps down from the shade’s central opening.
