The Stretch Semi-Flushmount from Nova of California hangs a wide, straight-sided drum shade from a short, slim stem and a small, round canopy, giving the contemporary, mid-century modern design a clean, minimal shape with a smooth, circular outline and a flat diffuser along the underside. Linen wraps the shade in a fine, woven texture, while steel makes up the thin stem and canopy that hold the fixture securely in place. Mounted in a bedroom, living room, or dining area, the semi-flushmount casts a soft, glare-free glow, and its built-in dimmer lets the light adjust to the mood.

Nova of California

Founded in 1923 by three brothers, Nova of California is one of the oldest lighting companies in North America. After thriving through the depression years, the company continued to grow, driven by its mission of bringing warmth and comfort to all homes. By the 1960s, the brand was producing pieces that are now considered classics. Today, innovative Nova of California mirrors update home interiors through the use of LED lighting, smart technology and interactivity.
