Perfect doorbell button
This well constructed doorbell button is well designed, well made and easy to install. The button works with a crisp, snappy action. It goes perfectly with our modern home entry. The orange color matches perfectly with the Trespa Meteon(r) Copper Yellow architectural panels and the brushed Aluminum face plate coordinates well with the Nickel finish Serious Materials(r) windows.
The Coolest Doorbell
This is hands down the coolest doorbell I have ever seen. People will comment on it, believe me. It has only one drawback - the button itself is made of a soft plastic material and over time it degrades and gets tacky, ultimately deteriorating pretty badly. My first one lasted about 7 years in good shape, then deteriorated for another 3 and I finally replaced it. Good news is there are more colors now - but bad news is you buy an $80 doorbell when all you really need is the rubber part. The price of cool.
Beautiful & Functional
This doorbell switch has gotten more comments from family, friends. . .even delivery drivers. It was a quick and easy installation, and is a fine product!
Beautiful Design
This doorbell has transformed our entrance. Our friends love it. Some of them have even bought the same doorbell in different colors.
Bad allen screw
This thing is perfect for the house. It shipped with a stripped out allen screwhead. I did not want to wait for a return, so I just glued it to the wall with some silicone. It has been a couple of months and it appears to be fine.

Lamenting the lack of stylish modern doorbells available on the market, Ted Pierson and his business partner, Tom Gordon, founded Spore Doorbells in Seattle, WA, in 1997. Their focus in the design of their doorbells was simplicity and ease of use. Their first doorbell design, Square, fulfilled such goals with its clean shape and LED illuminated resin push button, and set the stage for the various Spore doorbell designs to come.
