Transitional Modern Small Ceiling Fans & Small Ceiling Fans with Lights

Why We Love Small Ceiling Fans

Small ceiling fans are the perfect solution for smaller bedrooms, breakfast nooks and compact home offices. Most small room ceiling fans mount flush or close to the ceiling, taking up little to no ceiling space while still serving a functional purpose of keeping your rooms comfortably cool. This well-curated selection of fans offer a much smaller blade span than what you are used to with common ceiling fan sizes, allowing their design to be that much more unique and to save space. You'll quickly notice these fans may be small in diameter, but they are big in personality.

A Small Ceiling Fan for Every Room & Application

Asmall ceiling fan typically has a blade span (the blade diameter or sweep the fan is able to achieve) of less than 30". This minimal diameter makes this type of ceiling fan unique and the best choice for very specific areas of the home. How to Choose the Best Small Ceiling Fan

The first thing to consider with a small-blade ceiling fan is, of course, its size. These ceiling fan options have a much smaller blade span than you are used to, but you will still want to measure your room to make sure the ceiling can properly accommodate one of these fans. With measuring tape in hand, look for the width, diameter and height your space can accommodate. You'll also want to decide if your new fan will mount flush with the base of the ceiling or if it needs to extend with the help of a downrod. Keep in mind ceilings higher than a standard 8-feet will likely require a downrod. Consider using the Ceiling Fan Size Guide to help you gauge the best ceiling fan for your exact application. You'll also want to take note of the fan's CFM metrics to ensure it will help move the amount of air you are expecting it to. And finally, with size dimensions mapped out, you're ready to refine your choices by color, finishes and special features.
