Not 139 inches long...

Submitted 6 years ago

By Blue Jay

From Pacific NW

Which is fine with me as I was assuming that I'd have to keep it in the folded position as it is displayed on the website. However, it is only 78 inches long which is shorter than ideal for my space. Also, it is hard. Very, very hard. My plan was to use it as a bed for my granddaughter when she visits. I'm going to have to get a mattress topper to make it comfortable. And finally, the color is brilliant orange with a sheen to the fabric. It will still work but it's going to be more of a focal point than I had intended.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Great floor-seating-type lounge chair

We bought this to place near the place space for our baby. The height is perfect for us to sit down or lounge beside him while he plays on his play mat. Comfort is pretty good without the cushions being too firm nor too soft.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Trix - not just for kids - Great Product

I love this item. I got it in orange as a color accent piece. It is so versatile: can be a sofa, ottoman, chaise, extra bed. The fabric is durable and easy to care for; and, unlike some of the other Kartell products, it is very comfortable for everyday...Although I do adore my ghost chairs as well. I would recommend Trix as both a sophisticated and utilitarian design piece.

Kartell

Based in Milan, Italy, Kartell was founded in 1949 by chemical engineer Giulio Castelli and his wife, architect Anna Castelli. Originally a producer of car accessories, it was Kartell's experimentation in plastics for the home that made them famous. Stylish home accessories and lighting dominated the 1950s, with the first injection-molded furniture emerging in the 1960s. Since then, the Kartell modern furniture line has only continued to grow, including contemporary chairs, tables, sofas and more--all made out of durable, lightweight and surprisingly comfortable plastic.
