Very nice, but falls short of awesome
Solidly constructed, a unique piece that is very nice, but falls short of awesome. The crystal drops, when viewed from underneath the light fixture, are gorgeous. The crystal is of excellent quality and is made to shimmer from the light source/ mirrored inard, revealing a dazzling fixture. Was slightly disappointed when viewing the exterior side of the fixture itself from across the room. The sphere, when illuminated, gives off more of an smoke-colored semi opaque look, rather than a "bling" type appearance, and the dazzling effect is much more muted. Side note, the manufacturer includes extra crystals which is nice.

Perfect
After much research I purchased the small sized Sense Flushmount for the foyer and couldn't be more pleased . It is unique and beautiful and I find myself staring at it quite often. It has only been up for a week but those who have seen it stand and stare in awe . When not turned on it is delicate smokey glass . When lit those crystals make the room magical. It lights the space well and I chose not to use a dimmer. Now it does require two people and lots of patience to install . My husband installed it and he wasn't too happy after the first hour of trying ! Keep in mind that the globe has to be attached to the plate and all mounted at the same time. Of course we mounted the plate, hung every crystal and found out the globe would not fit over it ! You will forget all about your sore muscles and back once that light is up and turned on. Well worth the effort. Lumens had the best price too and I got an extra discount. Love Lumens !
My second all time favorite fixture...
I saw the Sense at a high-end lighting store in the Design District and had to have it! Of course Lumens carried it, too - they are so cutting edge :-) and, of course, less expensive. When it is turned off it is a dark smoke color and when on it is all translucent bling. I installed it in a private elevator entry way and it was perfect. Be sure to put it on a dimmer, because it can give off substantial light. The picture I took does not do it justice. I sold the place I used it in, but am going to put this in my own entry way.
GREAT Light
I was a little "meh" on the light just from looking at the light fixture on the website, but the person who posted what it looked like in their house convinced me that it might be worth a shot. WOW. This light is great!. Beautiful, contemporary and stylish for our entryway. It's not the brightest light out there, but that's ok by us. I'm now on a mission to replace ALL lights in my house as this one puts the others to shame, We had an electrician install due to the age of our home, but if you have normal wiring in your house, I think this is a do it yourselfer as long as you have 2 people working it.
A real stunner
This fixture looks amazing both off and on. Off it looks like a chrome globe. On, it reveals that is really is a smoky glass with beautiful crystals inside it. Put it in the guest room, like it so much I ordered a second one for the piano room too. Everyone who sees the fixture comments "Wow!"
