• Teak is naturally durable and ideal for outdoor use due to its high oil content, which helps prevent cracking and drying. For cleaning, rinse with water, scrub with teak cleaner and warm water following the grain, then rinse and air dry. To preserve the golden color, apply a teak sealer such as Golden Care, otherwise teak will naturally weather to a silver-gray patina over time. Small weathering cracks, especially at the end grain, are normal and not covered by warranty. Finished teak follows the same care using a cloth instead of a scrub pad, and the finish will fade outdoors. Do not cover teak, as this can trap moisture and cause mildew. Use teak cleaner and shield as needed, and avoid teak oils, which attract dirt and pollutants.
