Solid mango wood frames the bed structure, complemented by natural rice straw matting, which introduces textured surfaces that reference traditional Japanese building techniques. The tightly woven, multilayered material offers durability and temperature absorption properties derived from centuries-old natural fiber applications. Mango wood sourcing is derived from trees that are no longer producing fruit, utilizing agricultural byproducts as a construction material.
