I replaced my bedroom ceiling light with this fan/light combo. It's beautiful and the fan is wonderfully quiet, but the light is not LED and is much too dim for the use. Will need to replace or get a few floor lamps.

In 1886, the foundation for Hunter Fans was laid when John Hunter and his son, John C. Hunter, engineered the first water-driven ceiling fan for Tuerk Water Meter Co. in Syracuse, NY. By 1896, they had acquired Tuerk company, transforming it into the Hunter Fan & Motor Co. and launching the AC-powered Tuerk Type A fan in Fulton, NY.
