Each downrod terminates in a spherical base, which provides two points of security for a slender horizontal rod still strong enough to support a series of downward-facing candelabra-style lamps. The Lights themselves blaze out unrestricted below, each gentled from the sides by a conical shade of clear glass that provides a modern note while glowing pleasantly when lit from within.
