The Parasol Pendant from Jamie Young Co. takes its cue from a tropical sunshade, pairing a wide, shallow cone with a deep vertical rim. Hand-strung raffia wraps both the interior and exterior of the shade, laid in alternating panels that radiate from the crown and lend the surface a fibrous texture. An iron frame supports that wrapping, and a fabric cord rises from a small fitting at the top, finishing a dimmable design that feels relaxed yet refined.

Jamie Young Co.

In 1997, Jamie Young Jeter and her husband David Jeter took a day trip to Mexico and returned with a car full of flower pots. After selling the lot to a local florist, they realized the market for unique garden pots was wide open and began to produce them. As they tinkered with designs, they realized the pots would make interesting lamp bases, and the Jamie Young Company was born.
