Strong materials balance on top of each other to create the visually light yet structurally sound Overlap Outdoor Dining Table from Fritz Hansen. Designer TAF Architects’ work is based on a collaborative design approach. This TAF Architects piece highlights the contrast of wood and metal. These materials are paired with simple shapes that appeal to modern and contemporary tastes. The powder-coated steel base stands with bold angles covered in a uniform finish. This even finish showcases the distinct grain and organic hues of the patinating wood placed on top. The wood tabletop is arranged in a familiar slatted design for a warm, inviting feel.
