Quasar is the fruit of two years of research and refinement, walking a fine line between industrial robustness and individual craftsmanship and incorporating technical considerations of 6 to 12 hours of functionality, depending on which setting is used. The lamp incorporates recycled materials and features an aluminum cylinder body that bevels slightly inward towards rechargeable LED lamping placed under a disc shade, providing a distributed and even array of ambient light, while a polyester rope threaded through a rectangular eyelet atop the piece adds a touch of outdoorsy expressionism to the smooth piece while also acting as an optional method of suspension.

I live in that space between the 7th and 8th floors where the ceiling is very low. Actually, I pay a ridiculous amount of money to rent a bedroom in a home in San Diego. The room is my studio, and the closet is where I sleep. I needed a light that did not take up space, and would enable me to read "book" books as well as e-books. Since I tend to fall asleep with the light on, rechargeable is a bonus. I feel like I won the sweepstakes with this lamp. 🤪
