Designed to withstand the elements, the Bover Garota 02 Outdoor Semi-Flushmount fully protects a bright light source with a woven synthetic shade and polyethylene globe diffuser. The material is hand-wrapped tightly with a vertical pattern, resembling a wicker shade that comfortably surrounds the fixture with ambient light as well as down light through the open base. The central frosted diffuser is also UV protected, guaranteeing longevity and durability for different weather conditions.

When Bover Lighting began in 1996, it was almost by accident. At dinner with an architect friend, Joana Bover sketched out a lamp on a paper tablecloth. The architect ultimately used the lamp for one of his projects, with great success. This led others to approach Bover about designing lighting for them. Bover's reputation and the demand for her modern lighting quickly grew, leading to the formation of Bover, a lighting design company in Barcelona, Spain.
