A stylish design from the minds of Antonio Citterio and Oliver Low, the Glossy Outdoor Oval Table from Kartell rises from four slender, strong steel legs with disc bases, ascending to a slim, outward-stepping tabletop of stoneware. The legs are held in place by an array of slender crossbars that add depth and rigidity to the table’s form, while the natural variations in the stoneware add a robust attitude to outdoor spaces while leaving enough refinement for indoor use as well.

Kartell

Based in Milan, Italy, Kartell was founded in 1949 by chemical engineer Giulio Castelli and his wife, architect Anna Castelli. Originally a producer of car accessories, it was Kartell's experimentation in plastics for the home that made them famous. Stylish home accessories and lighting dominated the 1950s, with the first injection-molded furniture emerging in the 1960s. Since then, the Kartell modern furniture line has only continued to grow, including contemporary chairs, tables, sofas and more--all made out of durable, lightweight and surprisingly comfortable plastic.
