A refined piece producing a stately presence when slotted along a hallway or accentuating architectural features around one's home. The Olympic Wall Sconce from Jamie Young Co. takes a minimalist approach in delivering an evocative glow. The cohesiveness of the design comes from an all-metal construction and simple shapes. A polished circular backplate produces a half-cylindrical shade, together in a frontal view, they combine into a seamless shape. Its light hits the inner surface of the cylinder and wraps back for a fanned, ambient glow.

Jamie Young Co.

In 1997, Jamie Young Jeter and her husband David Jeter took a day trip to Mexico and returned with a car full of flower pots. After selling the lot to a local florist, they realized the market for unique garden pots was wide open and began to produce them. As they tinkered with designs, they realized the pots would make interesting lamp bases, and the Jamie Young Company was born.
