Shorts out in fewer than 3 years
Are You: Customer
We've owned multiple of these lamps. The design is wonderful and they are a pleasure to use, until the optical sensor shorts out in less than three years and no longer functions as an on/off switch. At that point, all you can do to turn on the lamp is plug it in and to turn it off unplug it. No option to have it repaired from the manufacturer either.

Base wears over time, leaving lamp to flop around

Comments about Kelvin Edge Table Lamp
I've had this lamp for several years and love it in general. However, recently the opening that the lamp slots into has worn away and the lamp flops around awkwardly, not sitting in the spot you're trying to put it. I'm tired of flopping the lamp around and trying to find a spot it will rest in that I can use to read by.
Looks great + highly functional
Verified Buyer
The lamp is very slender / does not get in the way, but is also quite sturdy. It is highly adjustable and - most importantly - stays where you move it without fiddling or moving over time. I like the adjustable brightness levels (sufficient level of adjustability I think), but would perhaps recommend a full dimmer if the product is ever updated.
Bedside

Needs another level of intensity. Takes some time to get used to controls. Otherwise very good bedside reading light.
Sleek, elegant, and highly functional
This is the third Kelvin table lamp I've bought, though the first in ten years. This version is improved with regard to the on/off "tapping" function. I use it on a nightstand for bedtime reading. Highly recommended.
