A pillar of early pop-art design from the mind of George Nelson, the Nelson Marshmallow Sofa by Herman Miller is recognizable even at a glance. An iconic example of Nelson’s playful, inspired style, it sets 18 round cushions, each one 10 inches in width, evenly spaced along a solid frame of tubular steel to form the seat and back. Each upholstered cushion is easily detached for either cleaning or to create additional color variation when swapped with a different color.
