A beautiful piece charmingly named “little flower” in Italian. Bring an enchanting presence to your rooms with the truly sculptural design of the Fiorella Mini Suspension from Slamp. It’s a piece by Nigel Coates, a designer inspired by the unique artisanal and industrial processes of the world around him. He calls on the great skill and attention to detail of the hand-folding craftsmen of Slamp to create a piece that embraces nature and light. The piece uses a technopolymer Flex material that has been printed and col-cut with a bevy of soft, organic shapes. These nature-inspired sheets are ordered in a starry composition to create a delightfully round form. Layers of flowery contours wrap across the piece, they’re defined with light and shadow created by the bulb inside. This nature-inspired design makes its way to your walls in the form of a beautiful cast shadow.

just the right touch

Needed an accent light next to a low sofa in our living room. This fit the bill! Lends some visual texture to a mostly white room- I got the white model. Not a huge fan of the plastic used for the fins, but I suppose it would have been much more expensive had a more substantial material been used.
