The Metro Pendant is presented by Jamie Young Co. Spherical faux alabaster shades soften and diffuse the lightbulbs hidden within. Their mid-century inspiration is injected with a decidedly urban zest, and the delicate swirl patterns and veining of natural stone in each shade are recreated carefully by hand from high-quality resin and are unique to each piece.
A day trip to Mexico in the 90’s inspired husband and wife David and Jamie to utilize unconventional materials in design. They began incorporating flower pots as lamp bases, and from there the Jamie Young Company was born; focusing on unique materials and taking note on current design trends. By taking influence from their travels and their love of art and history, Jamie Young and David Jeter have sought to build a company that can bring a global aesthetic into a variety of homes.
