The layered, cylindrical shape of the Ramona Pendant from Seascape Lamps emphasizes simple geometry, softened by the addition of handmade details. Each fixture is handmade in California, and suspends from a central cord, its open metal frame wrapped in vertical cotton yarn that introduces texture and contrast. A smaller cylindrical diffuser, made of translucent fabric, encloses the lamp, transforming the inner light into an even glow. The glow passes through the yarn, spreading outward in a gentle wash, while casting focused downlight below.
