Low Voltage 180 Track Head

I recently ordered some replacement WAC lighting heads for my halogen fixtures. The products were excellent, but I found out I had two different styles of track and that I had made a mistake when ordering. The exchange was handled easily and quickly, Thank You Y Lighting!

This is a fine product, I have about 20 of these lights through out my house. The work really well to light up a specific area of a room. I am glad to recommend them. One caveat, after using 20 of these for about 5 years, now I have had 3 burn-out. I suspect a little design change so that bulb does not sit directly below the transformer would increase the live span--heat is the enemy of all thing electrical. However, the failure rate is not unreasonable. I have brought replacements. This is only going to be a problem if the lights are at full brightness for a long time every day. The burnt out one are in the kitchen were lights burn brightly for many hours each day. Perhaps there is a model that might be better suited for constant use.

I bought six of these fixtures to use in my kitchen. I have a mid-century home, and I was worried these would look too industrial but they don't. They look very discrete on the open beams of my ceiling. The WAC "white" is in fact a very off white, but I don't mind that--some of you might. I'm using a combination of floods and spots. I love ylighting and WAC track lighting, and will be buying more.

This track light fixture is both attractive and affordable. Although I wish it had a reflector that kept the light from shining out the back, it is a small compromise for the price.
