What a difference a little light makes

hunterfan.comMy daughter and I installed the Laurel Ridge 4 Light Flush Mount in our entranceway. The first thing we noticed was how pretty the light fixture was. The second thing we noticed was how heavy the fixture is. Then we made all the little sounds that go with trying to decide if we were ready to attempt our first light installation. The flame tip bulbs we had were the right base but were too long. Fortunately, Lowe's had the correct ones. We went there and brought our tape measure with us to verify it would fit in the socket for height. It did! The instructions were very easy to follow. #1 - SHUT OFF THE BREAKER (we did). Removing the old fixture was easy. Installing the new one was a little more difficult than we thought it would be, probably because my arms were not made to hold the weight of the fixture over my head while my daughter was connecting the wires. She got it up and it didn't work! I also was not happy with the positioning of the fixture base. So down it came rotate the plate and recheck the connections. Check the voltage meter to make sure we have current. The light fixture is up completely, bulbs are in, turn the circuit breaker back on and viola…we are blinded by how bright the area is now and what a difference it makes. Might go back to the store and get lower wattage bulbs. It was a learning experience installing the light fixture. It is always wonderful working with my daughter, not sure we will do a ceiling mount again, but on the other hand…we do have "experience" now. Lol

hunterfan.comLaurel Ridge 4 Light Flush Mount was easy to install in less 20 minutes. I was surprised that the fixture wasn't in closed with glass. The sides are open. Being no glass on the sides it makes easier to replace the bulbs. Also open with no glass it will be easier to clean. But the most important part to me is how nice it looks. I put it at the top of my stair landing and it looks great.

Great product?

hunterfan.comThis fit great in our room that has a low ceiling. It's made of a very good quality. We put dimmable bulbs in it and this helps give such an elegant glow to the room. It was super easy to install. Directions are easy to read. The bulbs are fairly easy to get to for changing the bulbs out. You just can't go wrong with this! Overall, very satisfied. This brand has never let me down. It's the best brand on the market in my opinion.
Hunter Fans
In 1886, the foundation for Hunter Fans was laid when John Hunter and his son, John C. Hunter, engineered the first water-driven ceiling fan for Tuerk Water Meter Co. in Syracuse, NY. By 1896, they had acquired Tuerk company, transforming it into the Hunter Fan & Motor Co. and launching the AC-powered Tuerk Type A fan in Fulton, NY. Over the years, Hunter expanded its product line to include oscillating desk fans, pedestal fans, attic fans, air conditioning units, air purifiers, humidifiers and even decorative lighting.
