The Kintsugi Cutlery, Set of 4 from Seletti carries the kintsugi reference, the Japanese tradition of mending broken objects with gold, into a set of stainless steel flatware. Designed by Marcantonio, each piece features an ornate, classical pattern along its handle, with a gold band marking the point where the decorated handle meets the plain, polished portion of the utensil. The gold band reads as a deliberate join rather than a decorative flourish, carrying the reference through to an everyday object.
