We purchased this table to compliment a Vitra Slow Chair in our daughter's room. Like other Kartell pieces we own, this is well made, substantial in weight yet light in appearance. One of the best side tables of this size for under $200. It does scratch fairly easily however.
Jolly side table purchase
I ordered these 2 tables as end tables for my living room. These tables are way to short and to small in size for this purpose. These tables do not need to be ordered if you want decent size end tables for you chairs or couch. They look great and I like them, but I can't use them for what I ordered them for.

Kartell is such a great name in modern deisgn and this Jolly Side Table is no exception. It is quite compact, measuring only about 16" by 16" in width and depth, but you can always use two as a coffee table alternative. Since the table is made of one piece of molded polycarbonate, it is sleek and clean looking! I bought the transparent crystal to use just as a side table and love its light footprint.
Kartell
Based in Milan, Italy, Kartell was founded in 1949 by chemical engineer Giulio Castelli and his wife, architect Anna Castelli. Originally a producer of car accessories, it was Kartell's experimentation in plastics for the home that made them famous. Stylish home accessories and lighting dominated the 1950s, with the first injection-molded furniture emerging in the 1960s. Since then, the Kartell modern furniture line has only continued to grow, including contemporary chairs, tables, sofas and more--all made out of durable, lightweight and surprisingly comfortable plastic.
