Frequently Asked Questions

Which size is best for a miniature chandelier?

Begin your search for a new chandelier by refining results to the most appropriate sizes. You will need to properly measure the area where you plan to install a mini chandelier, paying close attention to dimensions like height, suspension length, diameter and in some cases, weight.

What style of mini chandelier is best?

This question is determined by your own personal aesthetics. Mini chandeliers are offered in many colors and finishes, as well as multiple shapes and shade materials. You'll want to take inventory of the already present decor in the room where you plan to install a chandelier to help you choose the most fitting option. Popular colors and finishes of miniature chandeliers include black, white, bronze, gold and chrome.

Can I use a mini chandelier outdoors?

If a chandelier is UL Listed for use in damp and wet locations, you are safe to use it on porches, patios and covered decks. Be sure to double check its label prior to purchasing and installing. You'll also want to use this rating if you plan to install a chandelier in the bathroom where moisture is typically present.

How do I install a mini chandelier?

Depending on the size you choose, you will have a few mounting options available to you. Flush mount mini chandeliers install flush with the base of the ceiling and therefore have a low hanging length, while standard mounting options will include a slight suspension from the base of the ceiling. In some cases, a longer suspension length is required for entryways, foyers or when installed over a dining table. While plug-in mini chandeliers are available, most will need to be wired into your existing electrical box. As always, we recommend consulting with your electrician to discuss any installation questions.
