I came across these stools 20 years ago in a restaurant and always wanted them for my home, but they were never quite right for my other living spaces. They are perfect in my new home. They are the most comfortable stool I have ever used. I love them, really. I bought three at the end of December. After two months waiting, I was informed my order was delayed by two months, and I received them over 4 months after ordering. I understand complexities of global commerce, but two things made this experience unpleasant. 1. My order never showed up in my account. Two calls to customer service and they told me it couldn't be resolved, despite having the same email address on the order as my account. So tracking required manually entering my order number each time. In the meantime, I was never informed of a delay until after 2 months had passed. 2. Just as annoying, I kept getting promotional emails for the same exact item while I awaited my product, dozens of emails. Why promote a product that you have a 4 month lead time to get? I understand the shipping time, but when 2 months became 4 months, I wondered if I would have been better off buying direct from a different vendor. Pleased with the product, displeased with the retail experience.
